MODsearch provides you with an easy way to find the parts
you need and compare pricing and availability from multiple vendors
at the same time. There are two ways to go about
finding the parts you want.
Searching If you already know the part name, number,
or description of the parts you are looking for, then searching
is your best bet. To do a search, simply enter as much information
as you can into the search box. The search engine will then
find the closest matches to your search criteria and present
you with a listing of parts and vendors that match your
search. You can then sort this list based on any of the
parameters listed. Once you have found the exact parts you
want, you can click on the links to take you directly to
the seller's web site to purchase the product. If they do
not have an online store, you will be presented with their
contact information so you can contact them directly.
Browsing If you are not sure what
parts you want, but just want to casually browse through
the available parts for your car or motorcycle, then you should use the
browse function. This will allow you to display parts based
on the criteria you select. You will then be able to buy
the parts directly from the seller or contact them regarding
the part, just like you do when using the search option.
This gives you a good way of seeing what is out there for
your ride.

Q: Is MODsearch selling these products?
A: No. MODsearch is simply a search engine for parts and accessories. When you click on the link, you should be taken to a new window displaying the site where you can buy that product. It should open up right to that product for your convenience.
Q: What is the difference when I check/uncheck the "match all" checkbox when performing a search?
A: The difference between checking and not checking "match all" is that when it is checked, it returns searches that match all the words in your query. For instance if you searched for "acura integra body kit" and you checked "match all", the engine will only return parts with all 4 words (acura, integra, body, and kit) marked by a scores of 100%. If you do not check "match all", the engine will return parts with either 1 or more of the words you entered. In other words, it could return a part containing "Acura Legend 1 piece headlights", or "Nitrous oxide kit". For a more refined search, try the advanced search.
Q: How can I get my store on the vendor ratings list?
A: Once you are a registered vendor with MODsearch, you will automatically be added to our vendor ratings list. If you're a vendor, check our vendors section for more information on registering.
Q: Who designed and coded MODsearch.com?
A: We did.
